Yet another great month of patterns!
Last month I spotted Iconic patterns Knot dress in her store and it is now available for purchase. It is such a simple yes sophisticated dress, I love the neckline.
The big news in new patterns this month was the latest collection by Named called Ritual
This collection covers your entire wardrobe. It encompasses a very wide variety of patterns including a simple knit skirt, a pair of boyfriend jeans, a stylish shirdress, a few jackets, overalls and a maxi dress. It total there are 14 patterns in this collection.
Style Arc have been consistantly creating some great patterns and this month was no exception. At the start of the month they released Poppy which is a zip front vest. It was also the free pattern for August.
The Monique Jacket and Etta Skirt teamed together would make a stunning suit.
Later in the month they released Lea and Tia and Oh how I love a good knit wrap dress. I really like the design of Tia, with the all in one sleeve and diagonal wrap it is perfect for a stripe.
Deer & Doe have a brand new shirt Buyere. It has some very well thought out details to make a simple shirt just that little bit more special.
Finlayson sweater by Thread Theory came out early in the month and I have seen some great variations being made.
I have only recently discovered Sewloft patterns. You can buy individual Sewloft patterns as a PDF or sign up to their unique subscription service. For just $15 a month you can get access to all of their patterns. The Elisabeth dress was their latest release.
Sew Over It released the Silk Cami as their first PDF. And now they have all of their patterns available as a digital download (PDF).
Measure Twice added three tops to their basics range. A simple racer back top, a tank top and a baseball singlet.
The latest addition to Pauline Alice’s pattern range is the Turia Dungarees. I am not sure about the longer leg version but as shorts they are very cute.
Waffle patterns also brought out the Dropje hooded vest. A perfect layering or transeasonal piece.
Pattern Review’s line of patterns introduced the Ina maxi skirt. It has some great design lines which would show off a stripe nicely.
While we are talking about Maxi’s. Did you see the Vespa maxi dress from SBCC? Doesn’t the back look great?
Papercut patterns in conjunction with Brooke Tyson have designed the Clover dress. It has some very interesting detail in the front and could see this being the perfect canvas to mix print and pattern fabrics.
The Makers’ Journal added two patterns to their collection this month. The Long Skinny shirt and the pocket top.
Seamingly smitten have designed a simple raglan top and they also have lace front top pattern that will be released soon too. Well worth signing up to their emails as they always offer some great discounts!
I love Make it perfect patterns and am delighted to introduce Skippy. Toni has been showing some different versions on her blog and I am pleasantly surprised by how versatile this pattern truly is.
Sew Caroline launched their picnic skirt. It is a fitted skirt with a high waist that also features a high low hemline.
