There were not as many pattern released this month as there has been in previous months. Maybe it has something to do with the change of seasons.
The Holly Jumpsuit from By Hand London has finally been released. I’m not usually fond of jumpsuits but the test versions that I have seen made are fantastic. It is a very flattering silloute with a wide leg trouser and side seam zipper. The bodice has a few versions – a scoop neck and short sleeves or a strappy bias cut option. It also has a variation for leaving the bodice off altogether to create a beautiful pair of high waist wide leg trousers.
They also released a simple princess line dress called Sabrina that is suitable for beginners. This dress also has two variations, which look completely different! Such a versatile pattern – something for cocktails or the beach!
Sew over it have come out with the Pussy Bow Blouse. This pattern is designed to be made from lightweight fabrics so it is more suited to someone with a little sewing experience. The results are just stunning.
Fehr trade has added another pattern to her sportswear collection. The threshold shorts are designed to be made from a lightweight fabric with three pocket options and an elasticised waist. The pattern also includes an optional runderwear brief or thong that can be attached or worn separately. Genius!
The ladies from Pattern anthology have just released their 8 days a week collection. These four patterns are available to buy as a bundle (right now!) for a limited time at a discounted price. The patterns are go-to-knit-pants, Marigold dress, McCartney zip front jacket and Neptune Tee
Teach me fashion have created their latest pattern and you tube video tutorial for a peplum dress.
The latest offering from Jennifer Lauren is the Dalloway dress and skirt. Horizontal pleats give a peplum look and create a very smart outfit.
Odette is the latest dress from Blue Ginger Doll. Odette has a fitted fully lined bodice that has a unique bateau “v” neckline with a contrast insert.
The culottes interest me. This pattern has the potential to become extremely popular. I can’t wait to see how people make and wear them.
Style Arc just released the flat bottom flo pants for … those with a flat bottom!
Salme patterns also released three new patterns this month. A simple elastic waist skirt, a dip hem shirt designed for woven fabrics and the Sofia knit dress . The dress has a deep V panel in the centre front and also down the sleeves. These panels could be done with a lace overlay or a contrast fabric.
Please let me know if there are any that I missed and I will add them to the post!
