Did you watch the Great British Sewing Bee?

It is a UK realitiy TV show in which amateurs compete to be crowned “Britian’s best home sewer”.  Episodes can still be seen on  You Tube

Apparently there recently was a Christmas special (which I have yet to see) and there will be another season in 2014.

Anyway I digress, One of the contestants Tilly is an independent designer.  Along with the tips, tricks and tutorials on her blog – Tilly and the Buttons she has found time to release two sewing patterns – Miette and Mathilde.

Miette is a flared wrap around skirt that ties at the front.

Mathilde is a loose fitting blouse with vertical tucks, puffed sleeves and button closure down the center back.

It is a beautiful blouse that works well with various fabric types. I plan on making a few for winter to wear to work with jeans.

I have added Mathilde to the pattern gallery.   The bloggers featured in this gallery are listed below.  Big thanks to you and Tilly for allowing me to include your images.
